Included are 200 mint stamps, many in blocks of four or larger (up to a block of 24), a First Day Cover (Jan 1, 1908), two Official booklet panes, a vending machine coil (CP GS3a, SG 366), a Waterlow plate proof in deep blue and a strip of five of a trial color plate proof in black of the recess printed stamp plus five different plate proofs of the surface printed stamp, four in black and a pair in the issued color. Included are 158 mint stamps, mostly in blocks of four or larger (up to a block of 16), a First Day Cover (Jan 1, 1908) and a reconstruction of Waterlow plates 1 & 2 which apparently contains 232 of the possible 240 positions, each mounted on a blowup of the stamp with the details of each position highlighted. A marvelous lot, virtually all F-VF. Scott value alone, with no regard for Gibbons varieties, is over $2,500.

Palestine Accumulation, 1918-1945, an exciting group put together around the mid to late 1970s and mostly purchased from English auction houses, many still on the original lot pages. The lot is basically in two parts, the stamps and the postal stationery. There are hundreds of mostly mint stamps including those mounted on pages, still on auction pages and in glassines or on stockcards. The stamps include a broad array of 1st issues, Jerusalem overprints., London overprints. and postage dues. Straight numbers are present such as #1 (mint & used), then most of the regular numbers except for a few rarities; varieties abound including shades, paper types, watermark varieties, overprint types and double prints (J4 mint); numerous Specimens and Proofs including #2 Specimen, J1-2 imperf mint pairs, J4 imperf mint strip of 5, experimental coils, Meter Mark 5m-10m Artist Design essay, plus more. The stationery contains about 75 mint or used postal cards, registered letters and air letters with many better plus several with specimen overprints including RE15L; also an interesting group of used and unused Airgraph sheets including decorative Christmas and New Year sheets, a few minor problems including a little water damage, but overall a very desirable F-VF lot.
