1908, 2¢ carmine (332a), booklet pane of 6. horizontal pair from booklet pane, tied, along with pair 1¢ imperf #314, a 1¢ Louisiana Purchase #323, and a 5¢ Jamestown #330, on legal size registered cover from Milwaukee to Berlin, Canada, postmarked violet Milwaukee c.d.s. Dec 16, 1908, red Chicago transit c.d.s. Dec 17 and London, Ont. backstamp Dec 18, five Cuban and Guadeloupe stamps used by collector to "seal" the flaps; vertical file fold not affecting stamps, F-VF, a spectacular double rate franking with 8¢ for registration. Oct 28, 1918, on large registered cover (about 12x10 inches) handmade from heavy brown paper, manuscript instruction "Photographs - Do Not Fold" censored at LL with N.Y. customs handstamp, backstamped New York Nov 24 and Boston Nov 25; folded once and with several large tears due to the very brittle paper but a rare franking. March 19, 1935, faint Onarga receiver, manuscript "Recd in bad order at Onarga"; some faults from handling and folding, but a spectacular booklet pane commercial franking paying 75¢ postage and 5¢ for insurance.
