By far the most valuable is a section of hundreds of mint plate no. strips neatly sorted and identified in three home-made boxes. The condition is mostly F-VF throughout with the plate strips apparently all NH and VF.

Includes everything from an attractive pen-cancelled 5¢ 1847 to 33¢ commemorative sheets. We note a couple of mint Presidential sets complete and used Kansas.-Nebraska. complete (though the 10¢ Nebraska. is in two pieces), but the bulk of the lot is made up of modern mint plate blocks and sheets--probably about $500 face value. Go through this one carefully--you might find something we missed.
