THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST ATTRACTIVE OF THE 15 EXAMPLES KNOWN, ACCORDING TO THE TREPEL SURVEY, ONLY THREE OTHERS HAVING FOUR FULL MARGINS.

The San Francisco postmark indicates that the stamp was probably used to pay the 2¢ ship fee rather than the Hawaiian portion of the newspaper rate for which it was issued.
