THE UNIQUE DISCOVERY COPY.

Expertization: 1986 P.F. Certificate.

The regular postage issues printed by the Continental Bank Note Co. between 1873 and 1875 were partially printed on paper with silk fibers leading one to believe that some of the 1875 Newspaper stamps printed by Continental would also have been printed on this paper. However, no other copies have come to light since the discovery in 1986 of the example offered here.
