United States comprehensive collection, 1847-1978, mainly used 19th century and primarily mint 20th in two Scott Specialty albums. Starts with an attractive 4-margin #1 and includes nice looking examples of #14, 20, 30a, 118, 121, all the 90¢ Banknotes, a mint 50¢ Columbian, used #276A and 277, etc. The mint 20th century includes (all F-VF) #348 pair, 351, 354, 357-58, 578-79, 595, a nice White Plains sheet, a choice set of Kans.-Nebr. overprints, C1-6, and much more. There are also some nice postage dues and excellent officials. The second volume is cut squares and revenues and doesn't add a whole lot to the overall value. Much of the 19th century has small faults, but was selected for appearance…and there are plenty of sound stamps. the 20th century is generally F-VF with all the mint being hinged. This can be a terrific starter collection or it can provide lots of material for an intermediate collector.

United States 1869 pictorial issue, specialized collection of about 100 stamps and about 75 covers plus a complete set of India proofs and a few card proofs and essays, stamps comprise used 1¢ (5), 2¢ (25), 3¢ (39), 10¢ (9), 12¢ (7) 15¢ (2 type I and 3 type II) and 30¢ (2), one of the 15¢ type I appears unused and has been regummed; the covers are as follows: 1¢ (4, two with a 2¢ 1869, one with a 2¢ Black Jack); 2¢ (20, one with a 1¢ Banknote, two with pairs, one each strip of three and three singles, one with two 3¢); 3¢ (2 plus a group of 34 off-quality); 6¢ (2); 10¢ (4, one with pair, plus a front); 12¢ (2, one on a 3¢ entire), 15¢ (a type I [with PFC] and 4 type II); condition is extremely mixed but there are some nice cancels on the stamps and several nice covers.
