Worldwide collection/accumulation, Seven large cartons containing more than 300 large manila envelopes, each holding various album pages and stocksheets of a different country that have been separated from one or more worldwide collections. Some envelopes have almost so stamps, others several hundred, and while we didn't see anything really valuable, we opened only about one in ten envelopes so you may find anything. A real treasure hunt and ideal for someone marketing small country lots.

Worldwide collection, Thousands of stamps in three old brown Scott Internationals; Nineteenth Century, 1901-1919, and 1920-1929. No rarities but many $100- & up stamps, particularly in the 19th century volume. Typical mixed condition in the earlier but generally F-VF. Owner's 1987 catalogue value is $50,000. Even allowing for the few forgeries we see, it is still very close to that.

Worldwide collection, Collection of tens of thousands of stamps (estimated by the owner at well over 65,000) arranged alphabetically in 21 Scott International albums to the mid-1980s (the pages are not complete for all years). Nothing rare anywhere but mint sets from the 1970s and '80s scattered throughout and pockets of better countries here and there. Most notable for the great number of stamps and for the near-total lack of cancelled to order material. The little 19th century present is mixed quality but the rest is mainly F-VF. A great lot for a general collector.

Worldwide collection, Many thousands of mint and used stamps in 13 Master Global albums, primarily used with a predominance of 1950s-1970s issues (the albums have been updated to 1987 but the stamps only go to about 1980). Better countries include Australia, France and Germany; although we didn't note very much in the $25 and up category or many complete sets, this is still a worthwhile lot based on the sheer number of stamps.

Worldwide nineteenth century collection, Several thousand stamps in a somewhat beat-up circa 1895 deluxe album of French manufacture. While some countries have been stripped out entirely (Sweden and Switzerland, for instance) others are fairly complete, most noticeably Portugal. In general, the European countries are much stronger than the rest of the world, though the pages for France have been removed. Key stamps are lacking but there are so many $50- & up stamps that it is almost not noticeable. And, while condition is extremely mixed, this is still a highly desirable collection.

Worldwide nineteenth century collection, Collection of a few thousand stamps in a 2- volume 1897 Scott International album. No particular concentrations, but loaded with nice mid-range stamps. We even note three genuine Japanese dragons (#2, 5, 6). The albums' bindings are broken and pages are loose, so you will probably only want this one for the stamps, but careful inspection will be rewarded.

Worldwide mint nineteenth century collection, Unused, all mint collection of many hundreds of 19th century stamps in an old Butler Bros. "Excelsior" album, originally a deluxe album with blank spaces, that has seen better days. The stamps, however, are nearly all F-VF, o.g.-- most uncommon for a collection formed this long ago. The collector apparently started to move his stamps to another album at some point, but only got to the letter "D", so from Egypt on the collection is fairly solid. And, though only "low values" were purchased, they were bought so long ago that there are many, many $25- & up stamps. Worth a careful look.
