The bulk is U.S. covers, of which there are more than 300 including over 100 different cacheted First Day Covers of Scott #853, as well as Fair Event covers, Fair cancels, Naval Ship cancels, etc. Included among the Foreign material is Mexico's "Sarabia" airmail mint and with specimen overprint (both NH) plus on flown cover; Cape Verde inverted overprint (only 25 issued) plus Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Port. Guinea & India, each on a separate flown airmail cover; France #372 trial color die proof, and Cameroun #223-224 presentation proofs. There's also a little collateral and a few picture postcards. A marvelous collection, undoubtedly one of the finest in existence.

Worldwide hotel baggage labels, Collection of more than 2,000 labels with perhaps 1500 being different (often 2-5 of the same label). The labels were produced by hotels to be pasted on suitcases (most are gummed). They vary in size from about 2" x 2" to 4" x 4" with many being die-cut and most being multicolored miniature works of art. Hundreds of hotels are represented from dozens of countries around the world; the time period covered seems to be the 1920s to the 1960s with the newer ones tending to be more plain. A fabulous lot.
