Confederacy Postal history, small mounted collection of 25 covers bearing #1 (2), 2a, 4 (2), 5, 6 (2), 7 (3), 11 (7), 12 (3), 13 (looks good but "as is"); also a Raleigh, N.C. handstamped "Paid/5"; a Johnson's Island P.O.W. cover; a soldier's Due cover from the "seven days battle" of the Peninsular Campaign in the summer of 1862 endorsed "No postage stamps grow on the battlefield of Fair Oaks" by Chaplain A.M. Stewart of the 13th Pa. Reserves; and finally, a cover bearing a U.S. #26 tied by "Mobile, Ala. Apr 12 1861" c.d.s., the day of the firing on Fort Sumpter. Some faults but mostly F-VF, a terrific lot.
