Mier: 1918 (12 Aug.) censored printed matter wrapper to Windhoek (26.8), via Keetmanshoop (23.8), bearing 1913 ½d green, cancelled by "Mier/B.B." c.d.s., Very Fine and very rare usage.
Estimate 300 - 400

Mier, located near the border in Cape Province, South Africa, was transferred to South West African Postal Administration in 1917, with the old British Bechuanaland cancel being employed. Mier reverted to South African Postal Administration in 1929.

Swakopmund Parcel Oval: 1913 1s orange and 2s 6d purple and green, used 1916 (15 June) on part parcel card, cancelled by very fine strike of very rare red Swakopmund oval parcel date stamp (Putzel No. 9), Very Fine and very attractive and rare usage.

(3, Putzel No. 17) and Walvis Bay (5, Putzel No. 7 (4); Putzel No. 8). A very interesting selection that includes registered, censored and international usages, Very Fine.
