Extensive Canal Zone collection balance, comprised of overprints on U.S. stamps including singles, blocks and plate blocks, many with listed and unlisted varieties such as broken letters, overprint shifts, split overprints, spacing varieties etc. Highlights include mint or unused #4-8 (6) sets, 1924-25 issues including 4 sets of singles plus 71b, 80 block of four with three different spacings, 1925-28 issue includes 5 sets plus 85a, 86e (3), 91c (2), plus plate blocks of several values including #90 (2), 91 (4) and 92 (2); postage dues include #J1-6, J15-17 (5) each, plus J17b single and one in pair with normal, J20c, some small faults, mostly minor, overall above average for this area and an excellent lot.

A SUBSTANTIAL CANAL ZONE SPECIALIZED BALANCE, in three Lighthouse stock books comprised of singles and blocks many with listed and unlisted varieties, includes mint or unused #1 (5), one with "Panama" reading down and up, #2 (4) one with "Canal Zone" diagonal and a used pair with Canal Zone diagonal, #3 (5) one with colon between "Panama" and bar, #9-10 one each with spaced "AL" plus #10a, #11-13 including several antique types and "PAMANA" errors, #14 spaced "AL" plus many blocks containing broken letters and spacing varieties, on this and other 8¢ on 50¢ issues, 1906-21 issues show numerous multiples containing errors or varieties including #22e, 23d, 24 double overprint variety, 33a, 36b (2), 39d (3), 46b (3), 52a, 53a, 57 (3), 58-59 (3), 61a, 66 (8) plus Airmails, Officials, Official seals, etc., some minor flaws but overall fresh and above average condition.The above highlights cannot do justice the wide variety of this collection which needs viewing to be appreciated.

HAWAII REVENUES, collection/accumulation of about 245 stamps plus a small group of embossed revenue cut squares including M-H #405, 408 (2), 408A (same as 408 but 1-13/16"), 412/414 (seal on folded piece resulting a colorless impression on the second sheet); among the adhesive revenues (R1-9, 11-16), which mostly including 5-10 of a number (though there are 79 used R3/3a), we note (used unless noted) R4 (11), R5 (5), R6, R8 (13), R9 (5 plus a mint block of 4, part o.g., toned), R12 (unused block of 4), R15-16 (12 mint of each); also includes seven examples of the $1 #49 with revenue cancels; condition is a little mixed, as usual, but lots of F-VF material here, including all of the embossed. Scott value for just the adhesives is over $6,900.
