3¢ deep violet, booklet pane (720b, BK84a), two panes in 37¢ booklet, violet on buff with experimental cellophane interleaving, panes original gum never hinged, slight cover wrinkle at top left. Extremely Fine and scarce.

30,000 booklets of no. BK84 were made with .001 inch thick cellophane similar to but thinner than the experimental interleaving used for BK80a. Poor handling during assembly plus higher cost prevented wider use and very few were saved.

1971, 8¢ Space Achievement, Artist’s drawing (1434-1435), multicolor felt pen drawing, 12¼ x 4¼ of one of artist Robert McCall’s concepts for a se-tenant design, below the drawing is a note to "Steve" telling of McCall’s desire to do a "twin" design including the Lunar Rover and submitting two designs, of which this is apparently "No. 2". He has added "Steve: I have the latest info from NASA on the Rover etc." and has signed "Bob", overall size is 16½ x 12½ Very Fine and eminently suitable for framing.
