"X" with an additional manuscript. cancel in a different ink, showing a sort of rectangle with eyebrows, drawn on Franklin's face, on 1850 folded letter datelined "Frankfort [Me.]," Very Fine, the odd cancel is contemporary and appears to be underneath the X, possibly done by the sender; if so, the Frankfurt postmaster was not amused.
