Danish West Indies, Postage Due, 1902, 4¢ dark blue (J2), uncancelled on reverse of cover bearing uncancelled 4¢ greenish blue & yellow-brown (18a, Facit 16 var) bisect on cover to St. Croix, circled "T" handstamp and blue crayon "4" due rating, "Frederiksted 24/1 1903" backstamp, Very Fine and scarce. Facit L2.
Estimate $400 - 500

Althought the use of 4¢ bisects was authorized on January 20, 1903, it was not published until February 20. This resulted in some confusion and bisects not being recognized.
