New York, N.Y., U.S. City Despatch Post, 1842-45, 3¢ black on light blue (6LB3), large even margins showing parts of frameline on all sides, tied by two strikes of red "US" in octagon handstamp on folded letter to street address, matching red "U.S. City Despatch Post, Nov 14, 1 O'Clock" c.d.s., 1842 docketing; file fold slightly affects 3¢ Fine and rare use.
