Nov 2 1858" c.d.s. on buff cover to Augusta Me.; reduced slightly at right, slight stains, right stamp with perf faults, a Very Fine usage of six 1¢ stamps to pay double the 3¢ per half ounce rate. Estimate 1,500 - 2,000

Listed by Skinner-Eno as NS-C18 (p. 263), and grouped with cancels called either Roman numeral or 3¢ Coin, but without a town to go with it. Estimate 200 - 300
