Lot 1059

Vermont Stampless Covers, The balance of a specialized collection of 2000+ 19th century Vermont stampless covers with remarkably little duplication. This was an attempt to show, wherever possible, an in-depth study of each office. Different markings, rates and postmaster frankings; numerous manuscript postmarks with a good showing of towns of which there are 3 or fewer covers known including unique examples. Acquired one at a time by a very enthusiastic student, arranged alphabetically, each with owner's notes on accompanying index card; Fine-Very Fine. A fantastic opportunity for the collector.
Estimate 7,500 - 10,000
