The only denomination of the Bank Notes known with printing on both sides are the 3¢ values: the National, with three recorded and the Continental, of which we are aware of only two, one of which is offered in this sale in lot 124. We have never seen the 3¢ grilled printed on both sides listed in Scott.

This stamp is the only recorded Bank Note double impression showing a plate number. The certificate states it is a genuine 147b showing a partial double impression that includes plate "No. 29" in the design.

This double impression of the marginal markings is similar to the Official 3¢ Treasury stamp with imprint doubled in the design that was offered in the Markovits sale, MBI sale 273, Feb 2004 (lot 3179).
