1879, 2¢ vermilion, double impression (183a), strong doubling, rich color. Philadelphia duplex cancel. Few clipped perfs upper right and trivial gum soaks in a few perfs. Otherwise Fine.

Illustrated in Brookman Vol. II P. 290. Apparently, the other example came from the same sheet, as it has the same cancel. It too has a small fault.

1879, 3¢ green, double impression (184b), dramatic complete doubling of the top portion of design. Bullseye cancel fortuitously placed to leave the variety completely visible. Closed tear and a small corner crease. Fine appearance.

1879, 10¢ brown, with and without secret mark (188, 187), strip of 5, positions 1, 2 and 5 are with secret mark, positions 3 and 4 are without, beautifully centered, especially for a multiple, rich color. Pretty blue target and matching town postmark. Some faults, including a scuff on the right stamps, thins and creases but a most attractive and rare combination multiple.
