A CHOICE EXAMPLE OF THIS IMPERFORATE RARITY. A REVIEW OF THE ON-LINE RECORDS OF THE PHILATELIC FOUNDATION REVEALED ONLY ONE OTHER USED LINE PAIR, WHICH HAS A THIN.

Expertization: 2014 P.F. Certificate.

All carmine die II imperfs have the Shermack perforaions, making this issue rather analogous to other imperfs such as 314A and 482A which only come with the Shermack perforaions, and this 2 cent carmine shield is about as rare used as either of those.
