The 30¢ re-issue, as with most of the others from this re-issue group is exceedingly rare used. The 30¢ is also especially difficult to locate well centered, given the narrow spacing at the sides. A review of the Philatelic Foundation records yields only about 20 used examples, of which only 6 are sound. The present example, and one other, a virtual twin, are the only ones which we can call well centered.

IT IS THE RAREST REGULARLY ISSUED POSTAGE STAMP IN USED CONDITION, THAT IS REASONABLY AVAILABLE MINT, AND HAS THEREFORE EARNED ITS PLACE AS THE HOLY GRAIL FOR THE USED COLLECTOR.
