Netherlands, 1900 (Jan. 20) large cover to Amsterdam, bearing Surinam King William II 50c, 2g50c, and Queen Wilhelmina 20c, only the last cancelled by "Paramaribo" c.d.s. since the King William stamps were no longer valid as indicated by the crayon "0" below each, taxed on arrival with Postage Due 1g blue and red (J12) strip of three and singles (3) tied by c.d.s. (Feb.11), showing unframed "T" handstamp adjacent, representing a double deficiency charge of 6 guilders at 12 times the normal letter rate (180 grammes or 6 ounces), Very Fine for an envelope of this size and probably the most phenomenal postage due charge on any nineteenth century Netherlands cover.
