Barbados, 1935 (Jan. 18) window envelope to St. James (Jan. 30), meter 2¢ in postage from Montreal, Postage Due 1¢ black diagonal bisect with manuscript surcharge "½" in red ink (S.G. 2a) tied by "G.P.O./Barbados" c.d.s., with arrival c.d.s. on reverse, envelope has a few faults, the bisect is Very Fine, less than 120 bisects used over several months, this being one of the few surviving commercial uses. SG £950 ($1,210).
