Argentina, Corrientes: 1867 (c.) folded letter to the capital of Corrientes, bearing (2c) black on yellow pen cancelled, manuscript "2cs" due marking alongside, and (2c) black on yellow applied as Due (double rate cover, no penalty for deficient postage) tied by distinctive nine bar grid; and 1869-74 (c.) cover probably from Bella Vista to Caa Cati readdressed to Corrientes bearing (2c) black on yellow pen cancelled, "2c" due marking in red crayon, with (2c) black on yellow (damaged at top left) applied as Due (either for double rate or forwarded cover, no penalty charged) cancelled by nine bar grid. An interesting pair of covers demonstrating that Corrientes was one of the Latin American pioneers of the Postage Due system adopting Definitives to collect postal charges.
