China, 1900 (Mar.) registered cover to Peru eventually returned to sender in Peking, on reverse CIP 10c green pair cancelled at Peking paying domestic postage and on front Japanese P.O. 20s red orange cancelled by "Shanghai/I.J.P.O." c.d.s. for foreign postage, two each of San Francisco, Cal. and New York registry labels representing the outward and return routings respectively, the envelope having actually reached Peru (Sept. 23), showing "Parti" and "Rebut" handstamp in violet, a few faults and the San Francisco labels defective, full of character.
