Canada, 1888, 3¢ bright vermilion (41), tied on cover by gorgeous strike Montreal flag cancel with "K" indicia below the union jack; reduced a bit at left, fresh and Very Fine, a rare cancel with only about 15 covers reported, only a few of which are small queens.

Believed to be a Bickerdike die used on a trial basis from Sept. 3-9, 1896.
