Canada, 1888, 3¢ bright vermilion (41), strip of 3 tied by grid cancels, along with two 1¢ yellow #35 on a 4¼ x 2" 5th class mail tag from Pair, Ont. to Philadelphia, Pa. with manuscript inscription "5th class, No value"; Very Fine and very scarce.
Estimate 200 - 300

Fifth class mail was established for mailing open parcels on February 1, 1888 at the rate of 1¢ per ounce.
