Walley, John (1644-1712), Early Massachusetts colonial settler & soldier, led first expedition against the French and Indians in Canada in 1689. 7 x 9 ALS, Boston, April 6, 1695, to Capt. Hill. Walley sends supplies by Mr. James Gooch but reports that "a kittle was not to be had for money". Scarce.
