WORLDWIDE COLLECTION, sprawling collection on Minkus Master Global pages in 108 mismatched Minkus binders. The pages, which include supplements to 1996 or 2000, depending on the country, have been rearranged to keep countries together. Many areas include only mint sets from the 1970s or '80s, with earlier years covered only very sparsely and there's a lot of cancelled to order in the Eastern Europe. Other areas were obviously favored by the owner and include some solid value, though nothing high-priced. Better countries, with a few mint highlights, include Canada (a F-VF Bluenose), Falkland Is. (#84-96, 94a, 107-20), Finland, Greece, Liechtenstein (C7-8), Belgium (B605a NH), Austria, Germany (C38-39), Italy, Scandinavia, etc. Many countries could have stood on their own, but we felt this was a collection where the whole was greater than the sum of its parts. Condition, because there's very little 19th century, is virtually all F-VF. A pleasant lot for a worldwide collector.
