1847, 5¢ red brown (1), horizontal pair, position. 89-90R1, right stamp Double Transfer B, ample to large margins except touched to barely in at left and touched bottom right, superb early impression and deep color, each with manuscript. "X" on ca. 1848 folded cover with blue "Lexington Ky. Feb. 5" c.d.s.; vertical file fold runs in margin between stamps, fresh and Fine appearance.
