New Brunswick 1851, 3d dark red (1a), and 6d olive yellow (2, SG4), both touched on one or two sides, cancelled "26" in oval grid and tied by manuscript "Ford 3" on 1856 envelope from Shediac to Ophir, California redirected to Sacramento, with origin and St. John N.B. (Feb 22) transit c.d.s. on reverse, while the front side shows "New Brunswick" double arc handstamp in blue, "Mount Ophir Cal." (Apr. 7) and "Ophirville/Cal." (11 Apr.) c.d.s. both in red with manuscript "Missent" endorsement, Fine, rare and appealing. SG 2. Estimate 6,000 - 8,000
