Newfoundland 1857, 4d scarlet vermilion (4), with huge to large margins and 3d yellowish green (3, SG3), touched or just cut into, cancelled and the latter tied by oval of bars on 1861 envelope to Philadelphia, showing "Harbour Grace/JA 15 1861" double arc origin d.s., "St. Johns Newfoundland/Paid" rimless c.d.s in red, and "5" Boston Br. Pkt./Jan 26" c.d.s adjacent, Very Fine 6 pence ½ penny stg. rate from the interior to a U.S. port. SG 4.
