British Columbia & Vancouver Island 1865, 5¢ rose, perf 14 (5), 10¢ blue (6) pair cancelled "10" in barred oval at Williams Creek and the pair tied by both cogwheel and "San Francisco Ca./Sep 30" double ring datestamp in combination with U.S. 5¢ brown (76) and 10¢ dark green (68a), straight edge at left, similarly cancelled by cogwheel on 1867 envelope to Charlotte Town, Prince Edward Islands, backstamped "General Post Office British Columbia/25 Sep 1867" in blue, mended central vertical filing fold and cover lightly cleaned with some peripheral restoration, a wonderful franking to a rare destination, 25 cents Colonial postage from the interior and 15 cents U.S. postage from San Francisco for over 3000 miles to Prince Edward Island.
