Canal Zone 1912, 2c vermilion & black, inverted center, overprint reading down (39e var.), single taken from a handmade booklet (39f) with stitching running through top margin, bright color. O.g. with interleaving adhering. Fine and perhaps unique.

The sewing machine holes are the only means of identifying a booklet pane single from an ordinary sheet stamp. Normally those holes would be in the sheet margin tab.
