1939, $5 dark blue with provisional "Silver/Tax" handstamped overprint (RG53 var.), in black on Scott #280, natural straight edge at bottom. Light violet handstamped cancel. Few short perfs at top, diagonal crease. Fine appearance. Unlisted in Scott.
