New South Wales 1851 (May) folded letter from Kempsey to Paris, France (26.9), via London (25.9), bearing 1850 2d ultramarine plate III, Position 9 and 3d yellow-green on soft yellowish wove, Position 15, Sydney Views both with rich colors and large margins, cancelled by "89" (Kempsey) barred ovals, with red "Paid Ship Letter/Sydney" (13.5) and Calais (26.9) c.d.s. and "8" manuscript and "30" (décimes) handstamp ratings alongside, showing Very Fine oval crowned "Kempsey/New S. Wales" handstamp and Armidale datestamp (6.5) on reverse, side flaps removed, Very Fine usage and extremely rare. Estimate 15,000 - 20,000
