1904 (10 Aug.) picture postcard (Ombandja, southern Angola) from a pharmacist with the Colonial troops to Dornum (6.9), showing "Abbabis/Deutsch-/Südwestafrika" Wanderstempel IV, town name handstamped in antique letters in violet, day "01" corrected to "10" in blue crayon, Very Fine and early use of this "Wanderstempel".

Expertization: signed Czimmek B.P.P.

A military convalescence center was opened in Abbabis on 8 August 1904 and the "Wanderstempel" used there until November.

The writer refers to the fighting by the water site Okowakuatjiwi in the North on 24 and 28 May.
