The excellent balance of the collection of the Nama Rebellion 1904-07, comprising approximately 110 envelopes and postcards (some unused), letter card, provisional registration receipt, and piece, including 1904 (5 Nov.) "Feldpostbrief" from assistant doctor of the 5th Battery (Southern part) to Munich showing "Kuis/Deutsch-/Südwestafrika" c.d.s., 1905 (24 Apr.) "Optischer Telegraph" envelope (damaged at top) sent as a field post envelope from a member of the Second Field Regiment, 4th Company to Germany with similar "Kuis" c.d.s., 1905 "Feldpostbrief" from the First Field Telegraph Division, 4th Section with Kub c.d.s. and soldier's letter cachet "Etappe Nomtsas" (Maltahöhe), 1904 (18 Sept.) from Devant-les-Ponts to a member of the First Field Regiment in Gibeon redirected to Grootfontein and then Windhoek, 1905 (22 Sept.) "Feld-Post" card with "Deutsche Seepost/Linie Hamburg-/Westafrika/XXXVIII" oval date stamp of the ship "Eduard Woermann" from Swakopmund to Germany showing "Hamburger Colonne des Rothen Kreuzes" circular handstamp in red, similar Red Cross cachets on 1906 (19-25 Jan.) "Feldpostkarte" (2, one from Las Palmas), 1905 (1 Dec.) "Feldpostkarte" from Gochas to Windhoek showing "Kub/Deutsch-/Südwestafrika" c.d.s. and sender's cachet of Military Hospital No. 16 and returned later to Hospital No. 6, 1906 (17 June) picture postcard (trio of great Nama leaders) from Ukamas to Germany via Upington bearing 10pf, 1906 (4 Mar.) "Feld-Postkarte" from Dresden to Kubub (17.9) returned to sender as addressee unknown, 1907 (6 Jan.) registered official envelope from Bremen to Lüdertizbucht readdressed to Aus with framed "Beschädigt/beim/Eisenbahnunglück/bei Ottersberg (Hanvr.)" handstamp in green (cf. Friedemann-Berichten, p. 503), and a wealth of other interesting cancellations and usages, Fine to Very Fine.
