1903 (12 Aug.) Cape of Good Hope 1d on 1½d stationery card from Swakopmund to Stettin (20.9) via Walfish Bay, cancelled by "Cape Town/5" c.d.s. (28.8) and showing framed "Paquebot" handstamp, carried on the "Gertrud Woermann" which ran aground off Port Nolloth yet card eventually delivered, 1903 (25 Aug.) telegram from Windhoek to the Imperial Reichs Post Office informing it of the shipwreck which occured on 23 August, and 1903 (25 Aug.) letter from Woermann Line on printed letterhead to the German Imperial Post Office in Berlin about the wreck of the "Gertrud Woermann", and sending the "Nautilus" to pick up the passengers and mail, Very Fine.
