1851, 3d red (1), bright color on deeply blued paper, large to enormous margins, neatly tied by crisp central strike of "9" oval grid cancellation (reportedly the earliest recorded), on 1856 (July 26) envelope from Grand Falls to Saint John, N.B., Grand Falls, Woodstock (7.27) and St. John (7.28) backstamps, seal at back torn out. Very Fine.
