1857, 8d scarlet vermilion (8), block of six from the lower left corner of the sheet, vivid color on bright white paper, prooflike impression, large to enormous margins, original gum, three stamps never hinged. Extremely Fine and wonderful block. Unitrade C$3,000 as singles ($2,250).
