1851, 6d yellow green (4), lovely bright clear shade, large margins, just clear at top left, tied by oval grid and red "Paid 10 Cents" handstamp (applied at the U.S. border) on 1857 (Aug. 26) folded cover to Boston, Mass., red origin backstamp, also Amherst (8.27) and St. John (8.28), red manuscript "Paid 10 cts" beneath stamp; some fold separation and small hole in front panel, Fine to Very Fine 10 cent overland rate.
