Pioneer Aviation in America, A "scrapbook" narrative of participation in two 1910 Aviation Meets, at Boston and at Belmont Park, Long Island, by famed British aviator Claude Grahame White, as related by one Sydney MacDonald, White's business manager in a series of 43 real-photo picture postcards sent a lady friend in England. The cards show mostly activities at the meets, including flyers, planes and planewrecks, as well as a side-trip to Washington, D.C. Four of the cards are signed by flyers Grahame, Hubert Latham and J.A. Drexel (two) and most were sent under separate cover so are in exquisite condition. A fascinating and unique first-hand account of the life of a pioneer aviator.
