1857, 3¢ rose, type I (25), a stunning used single, perfectly centered with the perfs essentially clearing frame lines all around, wonderful fresh rich color. Light town postmark. Extremely Fine, the highest grade by the PF and the sole eample, only one at this grade at the PSE and only one higher (98). SSV $2,400 (SMQ $2,500).
