A survey of the Ishikawa, Rose and Lafayette collections, the last undoubtedly the greatest collection ever formed of the 1869 issue, does not yield any comparable example in terms of quality.

Small, innocuous ink stain in top margin, inconsequential corner perf creases upper right and lower right corners, couple nibbed perfs at upper left. Otherwise fresh and Very Fine. A very attractive example of this rare stamp.
