1887, 1¢ blue rejected "Tiffany" die R83, mint 43 x 51mm full corner cut square with huge margins, Thorpe #1140, very fresh color on exceedingly bright white paper clearly shows the unattractive die characteristics which caused its rejection. Pinpoint inclusions, some minor reverse toning. Still Very Fine, an excellent example of this great rarity.
