A TRULY EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE SPECIAL PRINTING, WHICH SCOTT VALUES IN A GRADE OF FINE ONLY.

There are less than 30 certified singles of the 1¢ Soft Paper special printing. The large majority of these are poorly centered. No more than five or six could be called well centered, most of which have small faults. Given the fact that this is the best centered, and it is additionally sound and remarkably fresh, this example is undoubtedly in the finest condition available.
