United States classic first day cover assortment 1919-33, group of 31 FDCs (some with Colman, Crosby, Nickles and Worden addressees) including #537 (vertical crease on far left), 555, 557, 560, 564 (Caldwell and Wash. D.C.), 565 (hinge strip remnant at bottom), 582, 591, 614-616 (set of three covers plus two combinations), 617-619 (combination), 619, 620-621 (combination blocks), 644, 647 (plate block), 692, 694-697, 699-700 (last seven with blocks or plate blocks), 704-715 (2 combinations), C18 (N.Y.-Roessler air mail), E13/QE4a (combination) and QE3 on U522. In addition there are six more with printed cachets including Planty-Mellone #623-1 (unofficial Bellefonte some light toning), 644-6 (Gorham), 654-9 (Egolf), 681-60, 685-1a (last 2 Roessler) and C10-1 (Griffin). A very few are open at top or side and a few have typical back flap tone lines as often with this period, still a F-VF and attractive lot of covers.
