Russia and Soviet Republics, large accumulation of perhaps 18-20 different collections is 27 albums or stockbooks. The collections range from sparse c.t.o. to 1960-89 almost complete mint, NH. There are also a couple with decent showings of back of the book and early Soviet Republics and a stockbook with many better used sets of the 1930s. All-in-all, a nice cross-section offering something for nearly everyone.

Spain, extensive collection to 1997 in two Schaubek albums, lots of 19th century, though no high values, with plenty of duplicates for cancels, etc. In fact, duplication is present throughout with two of almost everything beginning in the 1930s (both NH beginning in the '60s). Late 19th and early 20th century is abounding with such better mint as #217, 219, 220, 331-44 plus better later sets as well such as C144-45 and CB8-17. A terrific lot.

Sweden Covers, a fascinating accumulation of covers in numerous albums housed in two cartons, many periods and subjects represented, including 1779-1866 pamphlets or newspapers (approx. 75) the majority with various Tidnung/Stampel handstruck markings, 1866 envelope to Copenhagen bearing 17ö cancelled by Danish "1" in concentric circles on arrival and showing "Fra Sverrig" c.d.s. adjacent, 1875 Royal envelope (embossed Crown and monogram "Nil Desperandum") from Stockholm to Italy bearing 20ö pair, sections of airmails, special cancellations, first day covers, registered, parcel cards, military, censored, charity labels, and Antarctic expeditions with picture post cards (2) of S.T. Antarctic and A.E. Nordenskjold (signed), and envelope and card both used (stamps missing) with "Swedish Magellanian Expedition 1907-190"9 h.s. in violet. An interesting and diverse assembly.

Switzerland collection, nice basic collection in a Schaubek album, 1850-1969, on Lighthouse hingeless pages, 1970-85, and on stocksheets to 1993. Nothing high priced but after the mixed quality earlies there are lots of F-VF sets and singles including solid semi-postals and airs (about 50-50 mint and used), as well as some nice dues and officials. The five best souvenir sheets are missing, but there is good value in the ones that are here. Conditions is generally F-VF with the mint being hinged to 1974 and NH thereafter. A nice starter lot.

Switzerland 1862-1982, powerful intact collection in three Biella-Neher albums, mainly used Seated & Standing Helvetias with nearly everything else mint except the early Officials. In fact, the collection is virtually complete mint from #126 on including all souvenir sheets NH (the NABA sheet was bought as NH but appears to be o.g., very lightly hinged). It even including some non-Scott varieties like PA 29.2.01 mint o.g., lightly hinged (only priced used Zumstein). The Airs are complete and the Officials including O1-47 (with O1a-9a) NH, 2O17a and the 1944-50 sets NH. A beautiful lot, the likes of which are rarely offered intact.
