Hawaii 1864, 2¢ rose vermilion, bisected (31b) (left half) used as 1¢ with 5¢ blue (32), four singles, tied by negative "HI" in cork oval with U.S. 1869 12¢ green (117) pair tied by crossroads cork type, which also ties bisect, on 1871 (ca.) long envelope to Victoria, British Columbia, showing "G.P.O. Honolulu Paid All/Jan. 28" double ring d.s. in red and "San Francisco Cal. Paid" c.d.s in magenta for Feb. 8 and Feb. 9 (two different types) adjacent, rated "24" below U.S. stamps, signifying the 24 cents U.S.-British Columbia 1868 treaty rate, which was also four times 6 cent U.S.-Hawaiian treaty rate of 1870, this being paid by 21 cents in Hawaiian stamps and 3 cents in cash since the Post Office was running short of 2 cents stamps and the 6 cent stamp was not issued until February, 1871, the 12¢ pair creased and has foxing around perforations, the cover (part of flap missing) creased at right and with some wrinkling affecting stamps, Very Fine. Hawaii 1866, 5¢ blue (32), tied by large Honolulu target and San Francisco cogwheel on cover to New Brunswick and additionally franked with U.S. 5¢ brown (76) single and vertical pair tied by matching cogwheels, red "Honolulu U.S. Postage Paid Dec. 15" (1866) c.d.s. and bold "San Francisco Cal. Jan." double circle, few slightly toned perforations on a couple of stamps, Very Fine. Estimate 3,000 - 4,000
